SPECTATOR ADMISSION
Spectator admission for the 2025 SMAA Provincial Championships is $10 for ages 7 and up, while children 6 and under get in free. To help avoid long lines at the door, we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance through the SMAA website. Come out and support our athletes as they compete for the title of Provincial Champion—it's going to be an exciting weekend!

volunteers needed
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the 2025 SMAA Provincial Championships a success! Our athletes have worked hard all year to earn their spot at Provincials, and with your help, we can create an unforgettable experience for them. We are currently recruiting volunteers for the Ring Table, Admission Table, and Food Table. Volunteers will receive free admission to the event and have the best seats in the house to catch all the action. Qualifying for Provincial Championships

Points are awarded for SMAA member athletes placing 1st through 4th in a Saskatchewan Martial Arts Sanctioned tournament during the ratings period from April 1 to March 31.

How do athletes earn points?
Athletes belonging to current SMAA member clubs earn points for winning 1st through 4th place at SMAA sanctioned open tournaments. After each tournament, the points are added to the Provincial Ratings.
The following points are awarded for placing in SMAA sanctioned tournaments:
1st Place - 51 points
2nd Place - 25 points
3rd Place - 10 points
4th Place - 5 points
Walk Over - 26 points
*Walkover is defined as the athlete winning the division due to lack of competitors and the inability or choice to not move into the upper division.*

If you have any concerns regarding your rankings, please have your Instructor use the below online form to send any questions, errors, or omissions.
